“Dancing is the last word in life. In dancing one draws nearer to oneself”, says painter and sculptor Jean Dubuffet. The pleasure we derive while dancing and drawing nearest to ourselves is unique. We are fortunate to have photography with us right at that moment. Just to spite our floating memories, photographs give us another chance to live those moments in future. We can look at photographs over and over again for minutes. Although images can't substitute the reality, at least they can tell us what we are subjected to. A good dance photograph can revivify the pleasure we had from the lived experience in our minds. Human body manifests its power and talent in dance and it gives a feast to the eyes of the onlookers. Human beings, through dance, feel the pride of their species. Ecstasy and vigor that a dancer creates are immediately transmitted to the audience and the photographer carries those oments into.
