The Manuscripts - Works Written By Mir'Ali Shir Nava'i in the British Library

Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī or Nizām al-Din A'lī Shīr or Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī or A'lī Shīr Beg (1441-1501) is known as the most powerful poet and writer of Chagatai literature. Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī can be described as a Turkish lover. The Turkish works he wrote gave life to the Turkish language. Turkish is the source of life for Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī. Turkish language is the life philosophy for Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī. Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī is a wise writer and poet. He is a well-equipped diplomat and political leader.
Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī has created around 30 works. The works he translated from Persian show that he knows Persian very well. It has a Divan of Persian poems. Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī's works were very popular in his era. That is why his works have been copied so much. His works have been read in Central Asia, Middle East, Anatolia and the Balkans. Mīr A'lī Shīr Navā'ī is undoubtedly the name that comes to mind when it comes to Chagatai literature. Libraries of the world are full of copies of his works. One of these libraries is the British Library in London. The British Library is considered quite rich in terms of Chagatai manuscripts. About 30 Navā'ī manuscripts are preserved in the British Library. In this review and research, the Navā'ī manuscripts in the British Library were introduced. The status of Navā'ī manuscripts is discussed in detail.
